On the top of Mt Canobolas is a retelling of the Wiradjuri Dreaming story about three brothers who fought over a woman causing angry spirits to erupt the ground, turning the brothers into mountains as a reminder against rage and greed.

At the summit, I appreciated the quiet stillness – an opportunity for reflection. In a world that often rewards self‑interest, our modern culture could learn a great deal from the teachings of First Nations people — about restraint, respect, and the responsibility we carry toward each other.
