Collection: Ted Lewis DAY TRIP

Inspired by the beauty around the Central West, Ted Lewis’ latest exhibition - DAY TRIP - is an collection of local scenes.

Iconic streetscapes, tree lined dirt lanes, creeks with river oaks, Gum trees and saplings with wildflowers scattered among them, blue hills and rugged natural beauty that inspires.
“By living in, absorbing and being a part of my natural surroundings, I feel I am able to convey my feelings of peace, beauty and my overall love of nature and the Australian bush into my paintings.”

Ted has a great love of the Australian bush and takes his paints with him wherever he goes. He tries to capture the light and vibrancy of the ever-changing landscapes – landscapes that range from the colourful beaches to the brilliant reds and blues of Central Australia – the subjects are endless and the challenges are many.
