Sarah Randall - PATHWAYS

This exhibition pulls together the work created during four Artist in Residence programs undertaken in the last year; The CORRIDOR Project at Wyangala, Lake Macquarie City Arts, Ironbark Residency with Orana Arts and the Nancy Fairfax Artist In Residence at Tweed Heads Regional Gallery & Margaret Olley Art Centre.

My work explores the space between mankind and natural occurrence. It draws from the environment at residence, portraying rural landscapes and distinctive forms unique to their place. Despite this control we have on our environment, nature has a persistent, soft resistance to defy our intentions. The way forward for us is a negotiation.
