Collection: Josephine Jaggers-Manners
After retiring as a restaurateur Josephine was able to pursue her ambition to become a full time artist. Working from her home studio in Orange NSW Josephine works mainly with acrylics on canvas. Josephine enjoys painting a variety of genres including interiors, memories of her travels abroad and semi abstract landscapes.
Josephine has exhibited widely in the central west NSW and in the Blue Mountains. Josephine's attraction to and love of colour is always evident in her works as well as a fanciful and whimsical approach to her compositions.
More recently Josephine has been exploring transferring her art onto fashion and accessories, she terms this her wearable art collections. Josephine also teaches a variety of crafts including rag rug making and papier-mâché bowl crafting.
