The evening beam that smiles the clouds away

What was once happy hour is now referred to as witching hour in our house - a time where our little kids are ratty and ready for dinner, bath and bed. It's also the time I love the most , when the sky does magical things with our hills as the sun sets. It's fleeting, but it's a moment in my day where I pause to reflect and check in with myself and say 'Hi' to Mum. If the kids have pushed every button I posess and I'm at my witts end, I can count on this scene to reset my mood and usher away the metaphorical dark clouds that were forming.
