Lake Frome is a magnificent salt lake just east of the Flinders Ranges. Like a jewel in the crown, it is breath taking to behold. We flew often above it like birds and often were amazed at the changes in the moods and colours as the seasons and time of day reflected off its surface. Sometimes wet, mostly dry but the marks of Arkaroo, the dreamtime snake still can be seen winding his way across the lake bed forming the land.
