My very first painting of the Gammon Ranges. Those views impacted me in the manner of Stendahl. I was overcome with the sheer joy of the range of colours, the energy flows across the landscape, the absolute beauty of it all. 

This painting likewise, flowed from me in a surreal manner as my soul just needed to get some of those forces out onto paper. I will never forget the freedom of that moment.
