Darkly, deeply beautifully blue

We moved to a farm outside of Newbridge last year and then we suddenly lost my Mum I told my little girls that she would always be here with us in the skies. We live up high on a hill and out here the sky bends down to kiss the land. With every magical cloud scene that rolls over our farm we feel connected to her. Using layers of heightened colour and texture I wanted to capture our drive home, safely guarded by rows of giant Pines that have been standing for decades planted by those before us, and a sky in flux that's constantly changing, even long after we are gone.
